Verticalization Cube

An innovative prototype of a rehabilitation aid designed to help people with certain types of spinal cord injuries practice standing. The development was a collaborative effort between physiotherapists from the Paraple Center and CTU student Václav F. Matyáš, supported by Sazka part of Allwyn.
The cube is made from panels containing 60% compressed scratch cards. It was made by the family-run studio Industrial Stopkovi.

The cube was made from panels with 60% compressed scratch cards leftover from the production of the Sazka Pumptrack.

The cover is made from recycled leatherette that was originally meant for car seats.

The cube contains soft foam inserts that provide comfort, absorb pressure, and prevent bedsores for safe use.

The cube is a new innovation and will assist with rehabilitation at the Paraple Center.
Stability, balance, self-confidence.

Stability, balance, self-confidence.

The verticalization cube is made for practicing independent standing at wall bars, balance training in an upright position, and dynamic weight-bearing on the legs. It improves body awareness and offers a valuable mental experience.
